v  Morning and afternoon tea is provided, in the lounge
v  Rooms are serviced daily, and there is a weekly laundry service for bedding and towels
v  Weekly transport is provided to/from shopping centres, in the MHA bus
v  A blood pressure clinic is held
v  Free access to the Frail Care home is offered, for up to 7 days per annum (subject to bed availability)
v  The emphasis is on allowing residents to remain as independent as is physically possible
v  Limited off-street parking is available.

All of the above, and in addition management expenses, building insurance, complex lighting, all municipal water/electricity/sewage charges, all repairs and maintenance (internal/external) are covered via a monthly Levy charged to all residents (refer section headed Monthly Levy).

Prior to MHA acquiring Epworth Close, it had been the Esslingen Residential Hotel, but had stood unoccupied for many years, and was acquired by MHA in 1987. Epworth Close is named after the small English village of Epworth, the birthplace of John and Charles Wesley.
