Services/Amenities

Each village within MHA is allowed to develop its own character, which in itself changes as residents change.  It is truly “village life” in action; each village is different in many ways, even if the look and feel is relatively standard. It happens therefore that one village might have a social atmosphere different from another, the spirit of caring and fellowship may differ from village to village, the Complex Managers and their spouses have different styles of involvement, and even the age profile differs. Be that as it may, MHA does its best to ensure that services and amenities are offered consistently. These might include:

  • Monthly BP readings
  • In-house church services and bible study sessions
  • Recreational games and activities, ranging from bingo and croquet to dancing, music, carpet bowls, table tennis, films, a monthly “bring and braai”, and a “happy hour” in the hall.
